Medieval Banquet Christmas Special – Exclusive to Greatdays for Group Travel Organisers
Meal, Drinks and Entertainment included
The regal banquet takes place by flickering torchlight in the vaulted cellars of Ivory House, just a stone’s throw away from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Centrally located in the beautiful and historic St Katharine Docks alongside the River Thames, just a two minute walk from Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Join Henry VIII and his court of knights, troubadours, contortionists, magicians, jugglers, minstrels and medieval tumblers at this most royal of banquets and enjoy a four course feast with ale and wine brought to your table throughout the meal by our dancing wenches.
The banquets are cooked in house using fresh ingredients led by the Head Chef.
Ale, wine and juice are included during the meal and for anything else you may wish to purchase we have a small but well-stocked bar which is competitively priced.
The music is drawn from the Medieval and Renaissance courts of Europe and covers the periods of the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th centuries. The musicians are at the forefront of a re emergence of Medieval English and European musical culture. The music is robust, engaging and emotive, bringing to life 800 year old musical manuscripts that have long been the domain of specialists and enthusiasts.
There are many opportunities to dance with the cast, sing, bang your fists on the table and cry for your wench to bring you more food or drink!
There are also a range of costumes available to hire to help you really look the part.
